Welcome to Our Sacred Space: Yoga Etiquette at Bombay Room Yoga

To ensure that everyone at Bombay Room Yoga can enjoy a peaceful, welcoming, and transformative experience, we ask that you follow these simple guidelines. By embracing this shared space with respect and mindfulness, we create a harmonious environment for all.

  1. Shoes Off, Spirit In
Please remove your shoes before entering the yoga room to maintain cleanliness and honor the practice space.

  2. Arrive Early, Settle In
Whenever possible, arrive 10-15 minutes early. This gives you time to center yourself and prepare for practice.

  3. Quiet the Mind, Quiet the Space
Our practice room is a sanctuary of calm. Please hold all conversations outside the studio, allowing everyone a moment of peace.

  4. Stay Present Until the End
Talking during class or leaving early can disrupt the flow for others. Please stay fully present for the entire class.

  5. Phones Off, Focus On
Keep cell phones on silent and finish any calls outside the studio to respect the tranquil atmosphere within.

  6. Follow the Flow, Honor Your Body
While we encourage you to follow the general class flow, we welcome modifications to suit your needs. Our instructors are here to guide you in adjustments. If you find that a class format is challenging, we recommend considering private instruction for personalized support.

  7. Commit to the Journey
Stay with us from the first breath to the final savasana. This commitment honors both your practice and those around you.

  8. Share Your Needs
Please inform your instructor of any injuries, health conditions, pregnancy, or other considerations that may affect your practice. We’re here to support you safely and effectively.

  9. Leave a Clean Mat Space
Before you go, kindly wipe around your mat to keep our shared space fresh and inviting for all.

  10. Nurture a Safe, Inclusive Sanctuary
Bombay Room Yoga is a welcoming space where everyone is respected. We uphold a zero-tolerance policy for any form of discrimination based on gender, race, sexual orientation, political views, age, religion, or any other factor. To maintain this safe, neutral space, please avoid controversial topics or inflammatory language. The yogic value of tolerance is at our core, and all are welcome here.

Thank you for helping us create a space filled with respect, peace, and unity. Together, we can cultivate a sanctuary for growth, healing, and connection.
